I was traveling to Ethiopia for 11 days as a single female and know it was generally safe and learn that it was highly recommended to get some help piecing things together. He opened up the world of Ethiopian culture, beauty and history to me. I was definitely in my mind, not a tourist but a traveler as I experienced very local things as well as marvel at the wonderful sights of Addis Ababa, Lake Tana, Gondar, Lalibela, Simien Mountains.

I was also accompanied for 2 days by Morgas who was really sweet, funny and a nature lover for a hike up the highlands for a wonderful homestay experience with a local family with warm hearts in their humble home. That’s definitely recommended! The views enroute were breathtaking as well!

I also had the picturesque Danakil Depression trip added and guided by KB who was very professional and caring. It was spectacular! There were too many great experiences, it’s hard to highlight which ranks as a favourite. By the time I returned to Addis, I was craving for the delicious coffee at Gashaw’s favourite cafe! We made a pit stop the moment we landed back to Addis to indulge.

They listened to everything I wanted and made it happen or offered suitable alternatives and that was crucial to make the trip very special.
