Axum Zion: Celebration of Saint Mary

All religious tour in Ethiopia have equal importance and the main reason is getting blessing and forgiveness, but going to Axum for the yearly celebration of Axum Zion has extra meaning of getting closer to the original Ark of the Covenant where it is kept near the Axum Zion Church in the center of Axum. Thousands of pilgrims from all around Ethiopia will participate in this special occasion and of course higher number of foreigners because Axum is one of the top tourist attraction sites. Axum Zion is on the 2 December.
