Bale Mountains National Park

Regarded as the most diversified wildlife habitat in Ethiopia for hosting large number of mammals, birds and natural beauty, Bale Mountain is without a doubt an ideal place for tourist requesting few days trekking program. Among the widely spotted mammals, the endemic Mountain Nyala, Menelik Bushbuck, Reedbuck, Greater & Lesser Kudu, Ethiopian Wolf, Warthog and the beautiful Bale Monkey will make your day enjoyable.

Bale Mountains National Park has different division on which your trekking days are limited to: horse riding, walking through the beautiful dense forest and/or short driving hour can assist you to reach the second highest point in Ethiopia, Mount Tulu Dimtu (4377M). This well-preserved natural attraction can be a 3-4 trekking days time. Along with the trekking, you can pay a visit to one of the oldest and biggest Ethiopian caves, sof Omer—very important Islamic shrine where Imum Omer used to pray by avoiding the disturbance of this world.
